Underground Dance Company - Company Auditions

Underground Dance Company performing companies are for the dancer that wants to take dance to the next level.  It involves commitment, dedication, passion, hard work, eagerness to learn and a lot of extra effort.  What your child will gain for the experience of being a UDC company dancer is priceless – as both a dancer and an individual.

There is virtually no limit to what our company members can experience, accomplish and learn as a part of Company if they set their mind to it.  Underground Dance Company is recognized and well respected throughout Michigan and nationally.   It is an honor to be a part of this group.

We have 6 companies,  Mini, Junior, Preteen, Teen, Senior and Line Company.  These Companies compete in 3-4 regional competitions each year and 1 national competition.  They also attend conventions and workshops.  Please feel free to E-mail with more detailed questions:  undergrounddanceco@yahoo.com or phone (586) 416-4700

Listed below is our tryout information for the 2011 - 2012 companies:

The tryouts are split by age, not by company.  We will regroup dancers where we feel that they will work best.  For example: a dancer trying out in the Teen year bracket will not necessarily be trying out for the teen company, but could dance with either senior, teen or junior groups depending on technique and age group of a company dance.  Dancer’s need to audition by the age they will be as of  January 1, 2012.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out company tryout sheet.
Cost: $ 20

Mini’s & Juniors -  11 & Under
Wednesday, June 22nd  4:30 - 6:30 pm

Teens - Seniors 12 & Up
Wednesday 7:00 - 9:30 pm

Final Judged Audition

Thursday - June 23rd

Mini’s & Juniors  - 4:30 - 6:30
Teens - Seniors - 7:00 - 9:30
